Buyer Protection Policy

Last updated: 2025

The BLDTRU Buyer Protection Policy (“Policy”) ensures that every purchase made on the Platform is safe, secure, and accurately represented. By purchasing through BLDTRU.com, you agree to this Policy and all related terms.

1. What Purchases Are Covered

Buyer Protection applies when a purchase is made directly through BLDTRU’s checkout system and the order meets all eligibility requirements. Coverage includes:

  • Items not received
  • Items damaged during shipment
  • Items significantly different from the listing
  • Products falsely advertised as handmade or original

Digital goods are covered only if the files are corrupted, missing, or materially different from what was advertised.

2. What Is Not Covered

Buyer Protection does not apply to:

  • Orders placed outside BLDTRU checkout
  • Custom orders approved by the buyer prior to shipping
  • Minor variations in handmade items (size, color, texture)
  • Personalized items matching the approved proof
  • Delivery delays outside the maker’s control
  • Items confiscated by customs/security
  • Used or altered items after delivery

3. Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for protection, buyers must:

  • Submit a dispute within 14 days of delivery or expected delivery date
  • Provide accurate shipping information at checkout
  • Not open a chargeback before BLDTRU investigates
  • Include photos, receipts, or supporting evidence when applicable
  • Communicate with the maker in good faith

Orders involving fraud, misuse, or attempts to exploit Buyer Protection will be denied and may result in account restrictions.

4. Resolution Process

When a buyer opens a dispute, BLDTRU follows a structured review:

  1. Buyer submits claim. Includes reason and evidence.
  2. Maker responds. Provides evidence or a solution.
  3. BLDTRU reviews both sides.
  4. Decision issued. Refund, replacement, or denial.

BLDTRU’s final determination is binding. If approved, refunds are issued directly through our payment processor.

5. Buyer Responsibilities

  • Review listing photos and descriptions thoroughly
  • Confirm customization details before checkout
  • Check shipping address for accuracy
  • Cooperate during dispute resolution
  • Refrain from fraudulent claims or threats

6. Maker Responsibilities

  • Ship on time and provide accurate tracking
  • Package items securely to prevent damage
  • Ensure listings are truthful and up to date
  • Respond promptly to dispute inquiries

7. Abuse of Buyer Protection

Misuse of Buyer Protection — including false claims, chargeback threats, or harassment — may lead to account suspension or removal. Repeated abuse may be reported to payment processors and relevant authorities.
