Last updated: 2025

BLDTRU respects the intellectual property rights of artists, makers, designers, photographers, and creators. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), BLDTRU responds promptly to valid copyright infringement notices and takes appropriate action.

1. Overview

If you believe that content posted on BLDTRU infringes your copyrighted work, you may submit a DMCA takedown notice. If we remove content, the maker may submit a counter-notice if they believe the removal was in error.

2. How to Submit a DMCA Takedown Notice

To file a valid DMCA notice, you must provide the following information in writing:

  • Your full legal name and contact information
  • A description of the copyrighted work you claim was infringed
  • The exact URL(s) where the infringing content is located
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is unauthorized
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf
  • Your physical or electronic signature

Submit your DMCA notice to:

dmca@bldtru.com

3. Incomplete or Invalid Notices

BLDTRU may reject any notice that is incomplete, unclear, abusive, or submitted without the required information. We will notify you if additional details are required to process your request.

4. What Happens After a Valid Notice Is Received

If your DMCA notice is valid, BLDTRU may:

  • Remove or disable access to the infringing content
  • Notify the maker responsible for posting the content
  • Request additional information from either party
  • Record the strike against the maker’s account

Makers who repeatedly post infringing content may face account restrictions or permanent removal from BLDTRU.

5. Submitting a Counter-Notice

If you are a maker whose content was removed and you believe the removal was a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a valid counter-notice.

Your counter-notice must include:

  • Your full legal name and contact information
  • Identification of the content that was removed
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that the content was removed by mistake
  • Your consent to U.S. federal court jurisdiction
  • Your physical or electronic signature

Submit your counter-notice to the same email address:

dmca@bldtru.com

6. Restoration of Content

If a valid counter-notice is received, BLDTRU may restore the removed content within 10–14 business days unless the original complainant initiates legal action to prevent restoration.

7. Repeat Infringers

Makers who receive multiple valid DMCA notices may have their marketplace privileges restricted or permanently removed. BLDTRU reserves the right to take action at its discretion based on the severity and frequency of violations.

8. Misuse of the DMCA Process

Filing false, misleading, or malicious DMCA notices or counter-notices is prohibited and may result in account suspension, legal liability, and removal from BLDTRU.
