Welcome to BLDTRU. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of BLDTRU.com (the “Platform”), including browsing, purchasing, selling, communicating with buyers or makers, and using any features, tools, or services offered through the Platform.
By accessing or using BLDTRU, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
1. Eligibility
To use BLDTRU, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
- Provide accurate account information.
- Not be prohibited from using online marketplace services under applicable law.
2. Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to:
- Keep your login credentials secure.
- Update your information when it changes.
- Notify us immediately of unauthorized access.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
3. BLDTRU’s Role
BLDTRU is a marketplace platform. We:
- Connect buyers with independent makers.
- Do not manufacture or warehouse products.
- Do not guarantee inventory, quality, or timelines.
- Process payments through our third-party provider (Stripe).
Makers are independent sellers—not employees, partners, or agents of BLDTRU.
4. Buying on BLDTRU
When purchasing on the Platform, you agree that:
- You are responsible for reviewing product descriptions and policies.
- Orders are binding when submitted.
- Refunds and returns follow our stated policies.
- Disputes may be handled through BLDTRU's resolution system and/or Stripe's dispute processes.
5. Selling on BLDTRU (Makers)
Makers agree to comply with:
- Our Maker Agreement.
- Stripe Connect requirements.
- Item quality and authenticity standards.
- Shipping and fulfillment timelines.
Listing prohibited items or engaging in fraudulent activity will result in immediate removal.
6. Payments & Fees
Payments are processed by Stripe. By using BLDTRU, you agree to:
- Stripe’s Terms of Service.
- Any applicable marketplace fees (displayed prior to listing).
- Automatic deduction of fees from transactions.
7. Refunds, Returns & Cancellations
Refunds and returns must follow BLDTRU’s posted policies. Makers may set shop-specific policies as long as they comply with the Platform’s standards.
Buyers must contact makers directly for order-specific issues before escalating to BLDTRU or Stripe.
8. Prohibited Use of the Platform
Users may not:
- Post illegal, stolen, or prohibited items.
- Engage in fraud, harassment, or abuse.
- Interfere with platform functionality.
- Copy, scrape, or tamper with the system.
- Misrepresent identity, products, or intent.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on BLDTRU—branding, layouts, interfaces, and original text—is owned by BLDTRU or its licensors. Users may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without permission.
Makers retain ownership of their original listings, product images, and branding.
10. Account Suspension or Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts for:
- Policy violations.
- Fraud or suspected fraud.
- Prohibited item listings.
- Chargeback abuse.
- Failure to comply with Stripe requirements.
11. Limitation of Liability
BLDTRU provides the Platform “as-is” and makes no guarantees regarding:
- Continuous or error-free operation.
- Accuracy of listings or buyer information.
- Delivery timelines from makers.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BLDTRU is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from Platform use.
12. Dispute Resolution
Disputes between buyers and makers should be resolved directly. If additional help is required, BLDTRU may intervene at its discretion.
Certain disputes—especially payment-related issues—are governed by Stripe’s dispute process.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the Platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
