This Maker Agreement governs your use of BLDTRU as a maker. By creating a maker profile, listing products, or using BLDTRU’s marketplace tools, you agree to comply with this Agreement and all associated policies incorporated by reference.

1. Eligibility

To participate as a maker on BLDTRU, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Be able to enter legally binding contracts in the United States
  • Provide accurate identity, tax, and payment information when required
  • Own or have the right to sell all products you list on BLDTRU

Makers agree that the information provided in their profiles is accurate and will be kept up to date.

2. Maker Responsibilities

As a maker on BLDTRU, you agree to:

  • Create and deliver original, handmade, or legitimately licensed products
  • Provide truthful descriptions and images for all listings
  • Fulfill orders on time and maintain high-quality service
  • Respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner
  • Maintain compliance with intellectual property, safety, and consumer laws
  • Keep inventory and pricing accurate
  • Respect BLDTRU’s rules, policies, and community standards

3. Prohibited Products

Makers may not list products prohibited by BLDTRU’s policies or U.S. law. This includes:

  • Counterfeit or trademark-infringing items
  • Weapons, dangerous devices, or restricted tools
  • Illegal substances or paraphernalia
  • Hazardous materials without certification
  • Mature or explicit adult content
  • Stolen, fraudulent, or misrepresented goods

Listings violating these restrictions may be removed immediately.

4. Payments & Fees

BLDTRU uses Stripe Connect to process payments securely. By connecting your Stripe account, you authorize BLDTRU to:

  • Collect payments from buyers on your behalf
  • Deduct applicable marketplace fees
  • Transfer payouts to your connected Stripe account

Fees may include listing fees, transaction fees, and payment processing fees as outlined in the Payment Terms.

Makers are solely responsible for taxes, including sales tax, income tax, and any applicable business taxes.

5. Order Fulfillment

Makers must ship orders on time according to the processing times listed in their product details. If delays occur, makers must notify buyers promptly.

Failure to fulfill orders may result in listing removal, refund enforcement, or account restrictions.

6. Returns & Refunds

Makers must comply with BLDTRU’s Returns Policy and Refund Policy.

Makers are responsible for defective, damaged, or incorrect items unless stated otherwise in BLDTRU’s policies.

7. Intellectual Property

Makers must ensure that all listings comply with BLDTRU’s Intellectual Property Policy.

Makers grant BLDTRU a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and promote their content on the platform for the purposes of marketing and operation.

8. Account Termination

BLDTRU may suspend or terminate maker accounts for violations of this Agreement, illegal activity, poor buyer experience, or repeated complaints.

9. Limitation of Liability

BLDTRU is not responsible for maker errors, product defects, shipping issues, tax compliance, or legal liability arising from a maker’s actions or listings.

Makers use BLDTRU at their own risk and agree to indemnify the platform from claims related to their business operations.

10. Agreement Updates

BLDTRU may update this Agreement at any time. Continued listing or use of maker tools constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
