Intellectual Property Policy
Last updated: 2025
BLDTRU protects the rights of makers and creators. We do not permit the listing, sale, or distribution of products that infringe, misuse, or violate another person’s intellectual property. Makers are responsible for ensuring their work is original, properly licensed, and compliant with U.S. and international IP laws.
1. Overview
All listings on BLDTRU must be created or owned by the maker posting them. This includes physical products, digital downloads, artwork, photographs, branding materials, and any associated media.
2. Maker Responsibilities
Makers must ensure that:
- All uploaded content is original or properly licensed
- No product uses copyrighted material without explicit permission
- No logos, trademarks, or brand imagery are used without rights
- AI-generated assets do not resemble real brands or copyrighted characters
- Digital downloads (SVGs, 3D models, templates) do not copy protected designs
Makers who violate these responsibilities may face account removal.
3. Prohibited Intellectual Property Violations
BLDTRU strictly prohibits:
- Unauthorized replicas of branded items
- Counterfeit or imitation products
- Unauthorized prints of copyrighted artwork or media
- Trademarked logos without licensing
- Digital designs derived from protected artwork, fonts, or models
- AI generations that substantially mimic recognizable characters or brands
4. Reporting Violations
If you believe your intellectual property is being infringed, you may submit a report to our legal team.
Your report should include:
- Your full legal name and contact details
- A description of the original work you own
- Evidence of ownership or registration
- The URL(s) of the suspected infringing listing
- A good-faith statement that you believe the use is unauthorized
Submit infringement claims to:
ip@bldtru.com
5. How BLDTRU Handles IP Claims
Once an IP complaint is submitted, BLDTRU may:
- Temporarily remove or hide the listing
- Request additional evidence from both parties
- Contact the maker for clarification or licensing documentation
- Reinstate or permanently remove the content
- Restrict, suspend, or terminate maker accounts
BLDTRU acts based on the strength of the evidence, not the number of reports received.
6. Repeat Offenders
Makers who repeatedly violate intellectual property laws may face:
- Permanent account suspension
- Marketplace bans
- Loss of access to sales and payouts
- Legal liability from rights holders
7. Misuse of the Reporting Process
Submitting false, misleading, or malicious IP reports is prohibited and may result in account suspension and legal consequences.
